Next week is the Foundations Spring Break! We will be meeting at my house for our Challenge day. We will have a regularly “full” day of class, with only 5 weeks to go from there! I will be ordering pizza; please bring a snack or treat to share.

  • Anatomy Scriptures: Brain

  • Please continue learning your vocab - we will be practicing a dry run of our vocab for Blue Book on Monday to identify areas that need more review.

  • Continue learning the pronouns! *Print copies of this chart for copy work at home.

  • Practice one verb conjugation chart per day to get into the conjugating groove! This will get easier with practice! : )


  • Continued study of Africa with the addition of Eastern Africa!

  • Daily cartography homework includes one new map, one review map.

  • Students drew Eastern Africa countries to research and share next week. : )

  • We assessed the skin (see blank page assessment in their journal), reviewed the skeletal system, and introduced the Brain today!

  • Draw the anatomy of the Brain and define terms (found in back of Anatomy Journal). [Lots of “Draw the human brain” on You Tube if you want to see other approaches to it.]

  • Remember to continue drawing previously learned systems for review as these will all be in the hat for drawing at Blue Book.
