Week 20 (S2W5)
“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”
Wow! We only have 10 weeks left! I’m already a little sad! With the end in mind, today we had a pretty firm conversation about assigned work - I clarified that it is expected that they are completing everything assigned in the Guide unless it is scaled by a parent teacher. *Going forward, I would like to see scaling noted in their Guide with parent initials. We discussed the gifts that they each bring to class when they have done their work during the week (we depend on it in order for it to be a feast and makes our work together in class a collaboration). Please reach out to me if you have any questions about this, or if your student needs any clarification! Thank you for all that you do to help us have a great year together. I really want everyone to feel like they finished strong this year!
Kudos to everyone for their excellent Science Fair presentations last week! We shared the Science Fair evaluation sheets from Mr. Costanzo (scores over 90 for everyone, WOW!!). It was an honor to award blue ribbons for their projects! *I encouraged them to organize all of their project artifacts together, including their evaluations and ribbon (a folder, etc) to officially close it out!

Micah 6:8 “What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
We had a great conversation about the many ways our families connect with justice issues and how God stirs us to answer injustice on His behalf! I pray for the ways that God will use them now and in the future to bring justice to broken places in our world!
