Week 21 (S2W6)

Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.
— Proverbs 4:23

Thank you for being gracious and flexible with our day today in light of my sick kiddos! I hope everyone had a happy and productive work day together! We appreciate your prayers for this ick to pass quickly through!

This week, students need to include a “Map of the World as They Know It” (open book) as the review work for their Debate/Cartography strand (in addition to learning North Africa); this will help them with review as well as slowly prepare them for their W30 Blue Book of the world. Ask them how their Blank Page Assessment of Asia went today!

Latin also requires copy work this week; please encourage a copy of the Personal Pronouns Chart each day this week to help them “get it” and make it easier to use these going forward.

They were also assigned African countries to share for next week (see W20 post for assignments if they do not remember from class). This contributes to the cartography feast that we will be enjoying next week!

Just a reminder that students are expected to complete and bring their assigned work from the Guide for Monday; exceptions need parental endorsement/initials. (See last week for more info/feel free to reach out if you have questions!) The idea is to help uphold accountability to our weekly work and ensure that parents are involved with sizing work if needed. Let’s end the year strong! : )
